Knitted Island by Aldis Circenis is inspired by the designer's childhood memories — being wrapped in a soft, patterned sweater while standing on the edge of a forest on a foggy summer morning. The sofa is designed with cylindrical back supports resembling tree trunks with various bark textures and moss growing on them. The design is part of Aldis Circenis’ initiative Enter Forest, created to highlight forests as one of our planet's most important assets: a place to seek rejuvenation, inspiration, and peace.

The company is one of the main seating furniture producers in the Baltics, offering a full cycle of design and manufacturing. Its in-house R&D department excels in creating complex products within a short time span. Their chair designs can be found across the Nordic countries — in concert halls, theatres, airports, and other public and private interiors.
