This innovative material, developed by designer Ilze Kalnbērziņa Praz as part of her master's thesis at Riga Technical University, combines clay and used coffee grounds. The added coffee grounds help to optimise production and make the cups lighter, keep the contents hot for longer, and reduce the overall environmental footprint. The brand offers a contemporary take on a cup of coffee: less waste and a more nuanced ritual.

Pora is a new brand that has been founded by business development manager Guntars Sticers and designer Ilze Kalnbērziņa Praz. The brand’s mission is to experiment with and expand the properties of materials while revising our environmental footprint.
