Snow Tale, the first collection of DeTales, is inspired by snow-covered mountaintops. Designed by Ieva Kalēja, it features a range of sculptural Ikebana vases, aroma diffusers, candleholders, and a serving platter. The minimalist line is crafted from leftover Silkstone® material (an innovation by Latvian bath manufacturer PAA), used in the production of bathtubs. The design borrows the aesthetic qualities of natural stone, creating a strong visual identity and contemplating the relationship between artificial and natural materials
DeTales
DeTales believes that God is in the details and that things that surround us should tell meaningful stories. DeTales serves as a playground for experienced and emerging designers to experiment with leftover material from the bathtub manufacturing process, thus reducing the amount of waste in the pursuit of a circular economy.
